Enjoyed the Professional Photographer's of Nebraska Conference this past weekend; getting to know my colleagues and facebook photo buddies. Planning for a couple more workshops coming up spanning Nebraska and Colorado.   Commercial

We visited Grandma Judy and Grandpa John at their condo on Lake Panorama.  Dressed in our Husker gear, we did some of our favorite family portraits ever.  Thanks grandma for helping with this effort!

Self portraits - maybe like getting teeth pulled, noooo!  We had fun actually.  The girls felt pretty in dresses and I bribed them all with candy.

I owe credit to Chris & Melanie.  I am new at this custom design stuff, so I was inspired by their design they sent to me.  Thanks guys.  I spent three hours uploading brushes into CS3 then editing and re-editing.  It's 6 am, haven't been to bed and have to process two more Christmas orders!  You should see how much I do in my spare time; remodel, play with children, keep a home, studio business, writing a book, starting a non-profit for foster children and volunteer.  I better get sleep tomorrow night or I won't have the energy to address my Christmas Cards when I get them back.

Mia is only two, but was like a well-mannered preschool student...this type of portraiture, when I really get to capture the essence of a child, is what I live for in photography!

"Babies in Hibiscus" is really my favorite work in digital form.  I made cast shadows to create depth and softened the portrait with a filter effect.  Really, there is no limit to how we can create portraits to capture and reflect the beauty of such sweetness.

Lindsey Kohles and Greg Keele had a traditional setting at Trinity Lutheran in downtown Omaha.  They are a sweet couple!
